For comedians on tour

Nobody checked
my ticket on
the way in.

I went to see a comedian in Milton Keynes with my family. No signal outside, so I could not pull the tickets up. They waved me straight through. I found a signal upstairs, screenshotted them, then walked past two people on the theatre doors who never asked to see them either.

I had paid. I just was never asked. Anyone who had not paid would have walked in the same way, and the comedian would never know it happened.

I build ticketing systems, so it stuck with me. That is why this exists.

The three problems

What a touring
comedian actually has.

One

Dates sold six different ways

Some through your own account, some by the venue, some by a promoter, some through a link tree. Your audience has no single place to look, and neither do you.

Two

The door is a printed list

Or an app that needs a signal in a building with thick walls. Two staff on the door with two copies of the same list, neither knowing what the other has ticked.

Three

Somebody else has your audience

Every person who ever bought a ticket gave their email address to a ticketing company. You cannot email the people who came to Blackburn about the next Blackburn show.

Family shows and adult shows

Nobody should book
the wrong one.

If you run a family matinee and an adult evening show, your tour page needs to say so on every single date — clearly, in a badge, not buried in a description.

A grandparent booking the evening show for the grandkids is a refund, a complaint and a bad night for you. It is the easiest problem on this page to fix and the one most sites get wrong.

We badge every date, set an age on the ticket, and print it on the ticket itself so the person on the door can see it too.

What you get

One site.
Every date on it.

Including the ones you do not sell. Where the venue has the box office, we put their link on your page — your audience still finds every date in one place, under your name.

Box office

Your own ticket sales

On the dates you promote, people buy from you and pay into your own Stripe account. No commission to us, no waiting until after the show.

Door

A scanner in your pocket

Any phone, no app, no hardware. Keeps working when the signal drops and syncs when it returns. Unlimited scanners at no extra cost.

Audience

A mailing list you own

Everyone who buys direct joins a list held on your own site, tagged by town. Six weeks before a date, email the people who live near it.

Clips

A members' area

Somewhere to put the stuff that does not go on YouTube. Outtakes, early ticket access, whatever you want to give people who follow properly.

Merch

A shop on the same checkout

Tees, mugs, signed photos. Same account, no commission, and orders you can post from a list rather than a spreadsheet.

You

Run from your phone

Add a date, change a price, put tickets on sale. Built for a comedian rather than a developer, and we are on the phone if you need us.

What it costs

£199+ VAT per month
  • The complete build, in your own artwork
  • Hosting, domain and security certificate
  • Ticketing, shop and members' area
  • Door scanner on unlimited phones
  • All email sending, no charge per contact
  • Two hours of changes each month
  • No build fee and no setup fee
  • Twelve-month term, then a month's notice

On a run of self-promoted dates the booking fees you stop handing over will usually cover most or all of that. Put your own numbers in the calculator and see. If it does not stack up for you, we will say so.

Next step

Twenty minutes on
a screen share.

We will sell a test ticket and scan it on a phone in front of you. If it is not clearly worth doing by the end of it, we will say so ourselves.
